Thanksgiving holiday is just around the corner (yikes, I just went to Safeway and it was busy!). i just wanted to let you know that although our dogs and cats are more than happy to eat "human food" it is often too rich and can cause GI upset. So far this week I have seen several appointments for vomiting dogs, this may be coincidence but it just made me aware of how often post holidays we see a number of patients with GI upset secondary to "dietary indiscretion". Please try to place appetizers and sweets off the coffee table and up high where our opportunistic pets cannot get to them.
I also wanted to take this opportunity to wish all of our clients a very happy Thanksgiving. We will be closed on Thanksgiving day but open on Friday and Saturday.
